Paint flaking on car?

I recently bought a 2006 Mustang (last July) and a couple months ago noticed that the very front of the hood was a spot where the paint was beginning to bubble. A couple weeks later the paint flaked off and now just yesterday I noticed another spot close by where it is beginning to bubble again and the edges where the paint came off on the original spot are also bubbling. What is causing this? It wasn't there when I bought the car and what should I do about it? Should I have the whole hood re-painted?Paint flaking on car?
If you purchased the car from a reputable dealer, I would go back to them. If not, I would recommend going to a reputable auto body shop for an estimate and repair. The repair may involve just spotting or painting the whole hood.Paint flaking on car?
oh jeeze, im sorry bud

I bought an 00 Firebird, and all of the clear coat is flaking off on every panel except the hood. So i took it to a local paint shop (Good advice, he paints funny drag cars) and he said that the car had been resprayed.

He recommended sanding the whole things down and painting it (2k right there). But, since its just a spot on your hood, i recommend getting a bottle of paint from autozone and touching it up, and if you see bubbles start to spread on the hood, or else where, take it to a paint shop.

Hope this helps
Where the paint is flaking if there is rust underneath then that means moisture is coming through the repair job, if not probably the clear peeling so take it to a autobody shop and they can reclear the hood. It won't look very good if they just spotted in the flakes.
it,s probably doing what my car is doing. the clear coat is coming off. just sand the whole hood down and repaint it. i do,nt like clear coat.
