i want to paint my 1998 saturn sl2 atleast 2 different colors. i've been trying to research today, but every body shop is closed of course! was just wondering if u guys would know a rough estimate.Paint estimate for my car?
there are so many ways to look at this.. repainting is cheaper than a new car but if the car runs good go for it but the price is hard changing colors will cost you the most if you do it right. or if you open the door or trunk it will be a different color my thought to you is to pick the same color or a shade real close so you have to only paint the skin and throw in some nice pin stripping .. but if money is no object shoot for the moon a fair repaint about 450 a good one about 950 choice one starts about 2500 and go up from there..*****Paint estimate for my car?

The materials alone will be about $700, for a reputable paint manufacturer's budget line.
Any place that quotes you less is probably hiring inexperienced labor, doing a half-assed job, and using cheap material.
A cheap paint job will look good for a year or two, but will eventually loose gloss, craze (crack) and flake.
A properly done paint job will cost more but will last as long as or longer than factory paint.
A cheap paint job winds up being a lot more expensive in the end
