Anyone ever had their car painted by Macco? What were the results?

If you go ahead and do all of the prep work on the car before sending it to maaco it isn't as terrible as it seems. I knew a few people who fully primed the car and taped everything off so all they had to do was spray it and it came out good. The main thing that they don't do is prep the car which is why people usually have issues with them.Anyone ever had their car painted by Macco? What were the results?
Their kinda good, but VERY expensive. I was angry with how much i paid just to paint over a small gash in my door. You should probably go with a local, or third party source (but make them do the painting first).Anyone ever had their car painted by Macco? What were the results?
TOTAL DISASTER!!!!!!!! They use the cheapest paints and preparation techniques so they can save themselves, and you, a higher price. I had a Pinto repainted by them, and it was full of blemishes and paint bubbles. If you love your car, whatever it is, consult with a private body shop that specializes with your particular product. To change the color of a car (if that's what you have in mind) is RARELY worth it. You would need to strip the entire car down to its skeleton to do it right. Good luck!!
