Has anyone had their car painted with Maaco?

How much did it cost, did they do a good job, what kind of car was it, with/without collision repair? I want to paint my new Cadillac (no collision damage) but I am at work and can't call to get an estimate. Thanks!Has anyone had their car painted with Maaco?
Ahh! Don't do it! My friend got the most expensive.. I think its like the ambassador or something.. But it was horrible.. There was hair is the paint and started chipping after 3 months!Has anyone had their car painted with Maaco?
My buddy had them paint a truck with minor accident damage... it looked like crap. If you have a new caddy... hire a good auto body shop.
My sister did the 299.00 special. It lasted a bout a year and now looks horrible...faded like a mofo!!!
I would only recommend Maaco if your car has a lousy paint job already. If you've got a rustbucket, you don't have much to lose by trying them. If it's in good shape now, they may make it really bad and you would have to spend more money later to get a real shop to fix it. You said your car was new with no damage, so I wouldn't risk it. Either spend the money to get it done right, if you really want to change the color, or else just leave it the color it is.

I work in a body shop and I've seen lots of paint jobs done by the cheap places and they look terrible after a few years or even right away. Paint refinishing is no joke. There's a reason why the expensive shops charge so much. There are a lot of important processes to insuring a quality finish, and you're not going to get that for $299.
Their paint jobs are passable, but you get what you pay for. For $250, they'll paint over your car's present finish, which is not the best way to do it.
my family has had at least 3 cars painted by maco (not with)

none had body work done, and when they have a sale their prices generally START at $250.00 but there are always

extras to consider, including door jams if you're changing the color, nothing like a white paint job with red door jams.

there are many variables. you must take the car there to discus what needs to be done.(what you want)

all shops don't always give the same quality jobs

we were very satisfied with the three last cars we had painted by them and when all was said and done they ranged

in price from about $600.00 to $800.00 FOR WHAT WE WANTED. 1 car is a 1989 buick riv. 1 car is 1990 buick

century, the 3rd car is a 1993 pontiac grand am. we still have all three cars and as far as we're concerned they've all held up well. we live in new jersey and so we took all three cars to the shop in TURNERSVILLE, New Jersey. good luck to ya
they are kind of high not good body work.
No cause those bastards tried to rip me off... They're overpriced... PURE MARKETING
Not sure of price or anything but 2 people i know had theres done by maaco and said they've had to take it back due to air bubbles and said they would never use them again.
