No you do not have to re-register your car. At least not in the U.S. You can paint your car guilt free. :o)~
what ever gave you that idea? just because you repaint the car, doesnt mean you have to re-register the car. if it did the state governments would be doing such a huge volume of business it would get nothing done.
Why? Neither the DMV nor the insurance companies even ask what color your car is. Anyone who tells you anything different is a victim of the ';Urban Legend'; that ';red cars cost more to insure...';
