Small paint chip in bumber of a rental car??

i rented a car this past weekend and when i parked i over shot and hit a car infront of me. a rock from the snow truck kind of put a small chip in the bumber. (like the size of a sharpy dot or marker dot) The counter at the airport was closed so i couldnt tell them. what will they do if they notice it? will they make me pay for it? will they charge my credit card?Small paint chip in bumber of a rental car??
Yea, best thing you can do is NOT tell them. I know it sounds bad, but they do understand that some things will happen to the cars they rent out; if they don't say anything, then neither should you.Small paint chip in bumber of a rental car??
they might, i'd have suggested touching it up with a touch up pen or marker...
Even if they DO notice and have it fixed and put it on your card, it wont be very expensive, so don't worry about it.

It's pretty much normal wear and tear. They may not even care.
Go by your local autozone type store and get them to find you a touch up paint marker to cover it with. A couple of dollars there may save you more when you turn it in. If you can't see any damage I wouldn't report it.
