What's best for taking foreign paint nicks off of a car?

I use a polishing compund for light/thin scrapes of paint but you can also buy buffing compunds for the thicker traces of another car's paint. Turtle wax and Mother's are both in my car-care products. What's best for taking foreign paint nicks off of a car?
Try a product called TR3. You'll find it at most auto parts stores. It's about $8. You just put some on a rag and rub it into the bad area. It just rubs most stuff right off.
