Paint job on car?

Approximately how much would it be to get a paint job on a brand new front bumper to replace my old one on a 99 grand prixPaint job on car?
If you're getting a brand new bumper to begin with, shop around or at least ask the folks if they have the right color one already in stock.

It might cost a little more for the right bumper but it's worth a shot, I believe your car's color should be printed on some sticker, but either way all the bumpers for the same car ought to be at least the color of one of the several factory specs (and there aren't but so many colors used on any specific make and model).

Other than that, yeah, 300-400.Paint job on car?
Approximately $400.00 for material, labor and taxes in the Washington, DC area.
On a bumper, you shouldnt pay more than $200
estimates are free at all reputable body shops, go get your yellow pages.
take it to a paint shop. tell them this is out of pocket can the give you a fair price?
If you already have the bumper to replace the old one with you can take you car to a local paint supply ( auto paint) and he can mix you a pint or two of paint to match you car perfectly. Then you just wet sand your new bumper with 320 grit paper until you get all of the gloss off from the release agent and pour your paint in a spray gun and have a blast painting your bumper. Just spray lightly from about 18 to 24 inches away to prevent runs. It should only take you a couple of hours to sand and paint and you saved a boat load of money by doing it yourself. Paint has gotten expensive though so don't be shocked what a pint or two cost. It's outrageous.
i own a shop, and paint and supplies and labor all together will cost you around 350 bucks total on that one,it wouldn't be so ad if wasn't for the increase in paint prices, they have almost doubled in the past year or so,but you can bet on at least around 350 bucks to get it done right ,good luck,i hope this help,s.
make sure when it is painted that a good place do it. ABS plastic can't be just painted over. They have to use what is called a flexable primer to prime the surface and the clear coat has to have flex agent added to it . You can probably have it painted for 100.00 bucks but that would be the wrong way. if you bump anything the paint will chip off, even a pressure washer from the car wash will strip it. Ask these questions so they at least think you know what your talking about. Exspect to pay aroud 300.00 to have it done the right way. Usally places that do collision repair do it the right way. While you ES and Macco's won't.
