How long does it take to re-paint a car and put on new tires?

I just got a 1997 Volvo 850 Turbo for my birthday today (Saturday), but the clear-coat on the roof and hood is peeling off so it was sent in to a local MAACO to have the paint re-done, the trim re-done, and some scratches painted over. Then it will be taken in to get new tires at a local shop, and the tires will be re-aligned. I got an estimate from MAACO that the paint job will take about 4 days and the tires another day, does this sound accurate? And if not, when would you guess it would be all done?

Sounds about right for the paint; tires could be done in an hour if they're not busy. How long does it take to re-paint a car and put on new tires?
Changing the tires is a 2hr job. Are they repainting the rims with the tiers off?

if so 1 day.

Depending on what level of paint job you are getting 4 days seem reasonable for a good quality job with Trim removal and minor body work
Sounds resonable. They probably could do it faster,as they are the McDonalds of autobody, but the longer the paint job takes, the better the results.
it depends on who does it really
That sounds like a reasonable estimate, you don't want them to rush through the paint process and botch it up. If they're redoing the trim, (I hope) that means they are prepping the car properly and will get all the ';nooks and crannies';, they'll be fixing any dents they find and treating/eliminating any rust that's found, or the paint job will be crappy. The actual time to put on the new tires wouldn't be a whole day, but I'm sure both establishments will have other customers needs to meet. 5 days total time is pretty good, I've seen worse.
