around 500 for a nice quality paint job. Maaco, or Earl Shieb they do good work.

for 3000 you're realy going out there. i doubt that you want to spend that much anyways.

just a nice looking paint job to make you feel good about your investment. if you happen to have an accidnet or smeone scratches your car, and you paid 3000 for it, ....how would you feel ???

go to local shops (but dont go alone, take a male friend with you) and see what prices they give you, on that MUSTANG BLUE.

or you can even try and call the place and ask for the average price for what you want.

they'll want to see the car before you have a definite quote.

Take care and i hope you dont spend more then 5 -7 hundredHow much do you think id have to spend to paint my car?
If you get a cheap job done it probably will cost you around $2500, where is you get a nice smooth complete job covering sills, and engine bay then close to $5000. The other thing you could do is in some areas there are paint training centers, or vocational training centers you could have one those places do it, and usually it will only cost you the price of paint.
3,000
You will get different answers and approaches to this. You don't have to get rid of your car or give a reason for it. The best answer depends on the cars condition. I drive junk, and I paint them myself. Looks don't matter at all to me.

If the car is in pristine condition, then $3000 give or take. If pristine, then you can get a quality job for less than that unless you live in the middle of New York city.

For a budget job...hmmm...$1500. That's down at the bottom. If you have original paint, see, there are small fissions in it now (they look like spiderwebs) and they have to be taken all the way down.

So decide what you want and look for small business painters who have references, to save some money.
