Found paint spots on car! Help!?

I recently noticed that there are some white paint droplets on the front of my car. I have no idea how it got there but I need to get it off ASAP! Anyone know of any tricks or cleansers that would take off the white paint spots without harming my paintjob or clearcoat? Thanks!Found paint spots on car! Help!?
1. Buff it off with a buffing wheel.





2. Lightly wet sand it off with some 2000 grit sand paper and a sanding block, but only in the area where the paint spots are.





3. Mix 2 %26amp; 1/2 parts of water to 1 part of paint thiner and gently apply to a rag. Try wiping them off very gently with the rag.

ignore the others, all they state will damage the finish or permanently put the paint drops into the paint. to use a high speed buffer on the spots will actually melt the spots into the finish.





1. take your finger and rub your paint somewhere hard. did your finger turn the color of your car?





yes? (normally older red's) stop by a body shop for they hold the chemicals to remove such items from lacquer based paints. this is what you have.





no? continue





2. get some paint thinner or lacquer thinner (Home Depot/Lowes hardware stores) and with a soft towel wipe in 1 direction across the paint spots. They should just start wiping away. You can scrub but you will leave some scratch marks from the towel, but neither of these chemicals will harm the finish. (you can pour them on it and not cause harm). Acetone or finger nail polish remover works as well but it can easily soften up the paint and cause damage if not used by a professional.





3. once the paint spots are removed, re-wax that area for you have stripped all wax off the car where you wiped. If scratches are there, you can hand compound the area then wax over that.





you are now done.





I do this for a living and have been a paint and finish expert for the past 15 yrs. Certified in Lexus, BMW, Infiniti, GM, Porsche and have created products and methods for the paint/cosmetics industry.
You need to take it and have it buffed off, if you don't know what you are doing you can ruin car paint.
first wash the car...





then get a buffing machine or sanding machine with a buffing wheel..





apply some compound... ( napa, auto zone ) and buff it out.. apply new wax and your done...
If you can't pick them off with your fingernail then do this. 1st Make sure the area is cool to the touch,in a shade.From W.M or a automotive paint store buy some low adbrasieve rubbing compound rub with a terry cloth towel in circular motion till gone,then use a polish or a scratch out remover in the same manner,then wax the area.If unsure on procedure go and ask someone at your local automotive paint supplier.
As long as your vehicle does not have a fresh paint job you can try paint thinner carefully, or detailing clay,or a polishing wheel.If worse comes to worse you may have to have it wet sanded off then polished.
