looks like bad clear coat[laqure]...or affects of acid rain.....Does anyone know what causes this to happen to the paint on your car? Picture?
It looks like somebody painted the car





(1) without stripping the old paint


(2) without priming the surface first





That's what happens if you do a cheap job or do it yourself

Possible some A hole dumped some chemical on it.





Bad paint.
age. some makes and years had a bad run of paint. But that just looks like its been washed and weathered too much with out waxing.
Sun damage.
